A set of six original Cesca chairs, designed by Marcel Breuer and produced by Gavina in the 1950s. 

These chairs feature hand-caned seats rather than machine-caned, lack any caps on the tubular frame, and maintain the correct curvature and seat length. The design was named as a tribute to Breuer’s adopted daughter, Francesca. The iconic chrome cantilever ‘Cesca’ chairs were originally designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928. 

Produced in Italy by Gavina for Knoll, the supporting structure is crafted from continuous Mannesmann-type tubular steel, folded to shape the chair, and then chromed.
